Hubby was understandably troubled when we learned I was pregnant (well, we both were) because, of course, we didn't know how to say it to our parents. He felt a little worried with our second baby, because it just seemed too soon to be expecting another one. Then with our youngest, he was surprised that he's going to be a dad again, but he was happy and proud that finally, we were having a boy. But despite the worries and all, my husband is definitely proud and happy with our children. God gave them all to us just in the right time. :)

Mommy Journey: He's a Dad!
Although our kids were all "unplanned", hubby's happy and proud to be a father. Well, unplanned, because I got pregnant before marriage with my first, then just after a year I got pregnant again with my second, and we weren't really planning to have another baby, but I got pregnant again and thankfully, with a baby boy.

Mommy Moments: Summer Plans
Well, I'm looking forward to a vacation for our family that hubby's boss promised once he gets the project they're bidding on, which is either to Bohol or Hongkong Disneyland. Woohoo!! :)
These are 2 of the places I would love our family to visit, especially this summer, so I'm really keeping my fingers crossed and would definitely do a lot of praying this weekend so that we could have the chance to go out of town and bond and have fun together as a family. :)

Mommy Moments: Dear Baby
Dearest Gwenevere, Gabrielle and Gerard,
It just seems like yesterday when you were still cute little newborns and I held you in my arms. I am so thankful that God chose me to be your mom and bringing you into this world is the greatest achievement I ever had in my life.
Always remember that I love you so much and God loves you more, so love Him above all and put your faith and trust in Him...always. Dream big not only for yourself but also for others. Use your God-given talents not as something to boast about, but use them to bring glory to God. Always believe in yourself and in your dreams. And whatever it is that you want to achieve and have in life, I'm always here to guide and cheer for you. Remember that I'm your biggest fan. *wink*
I am so proud of you all! Love you lots!:)

Mommy Moments: New Family Photo
It's Mommy Moments time once again and this week, moms get to share their most recent family photo. And here's ours:
This was taken when we went to Enchanted Kingdom on the first day of this year. My family visits EK every New Year to just hang-out, have fun and watch the awesome fireworks. :)

Mommy Moments: New Toys
My kids got more money last Christmas than toys so here are some of the toys they bought from their Christmas money:
Gwenevere's Hello Kitty My House
Gaby chose to buy a Bay Blade so that she can compete with her friends at school. I didn't know that girls like playing with these kind of toys.
Gerard's remote control car
I just took a picture of their toys because they weren't cooperating when I asked to have their picture taken. Kids! :)
What did your kids get last Christmas? Share it with us at Mommy Moments! :)

Mommy Moments: New Goals
Happy Friday, mommies and friends! So how do you like our new blog design? I hope you like it :)
It's the first Mommy Moments for the year and the theme for the week is all about goals. Aside from my goal of teaching financial literacy to my children this year, it is also my goal as a mom to teach my children the value of being thankful by sitting down with them once a week to write down the blessings that we have received for the week that we are thankful for. I have shared on my Getting Ready for the New Year post on my other blog the journals I bought for me and my girls that would serve as our gratitude journal and journal of dreams. Well, my little boy will not be able to participate in this weekly activity, so we'll have an arts and crafts activity every week.
It is also my goal to have more bonding moments with my children, so there'll be more story telling time. And right now, I have already started having a daily devotional time, wherein I share God's Word with them.
So there you have it. Those are my mommy goals to strengthen my relationship with my children. Share with us your goals this new year by hopping on over to Mommy Chris' blog. Have a great weekend, everyone! :)

Mommy Moments: Give Love on Christmas Day
It's Friday once again, and time for Mommy Moments. This week, mommies will get to share what gifts they’re planning to give to their kids this Christmas.
For my little boy, he already got his Christmas toy early. He loves airplanes and helicopters and dreams of being a pilot when he grows up (well, for now that’s what he wants) and so when he saw this toy helicopter at the mall, he didn’t let go of it. :) This is actually his second toy helicopter. He has one of those helicopter thingys that fly with a remote control but he just plays it with his Dad and grandpa because he still doesn’t know how to navigate these kinds of toys.
For my girls, Gaby wants to have her own PSP and Gwen, being a Barbie fan, wants to own a toy laptop. I don’t know how their Dad would be able to buy them these toys, but I just say to them to have faith…lots of it. :)

Whether we buy our kids the toys or things they want or not, we’re thankful that they understand when I explain why we couldn’t give it to them yet. I also tell them that compared to other kids, they’re still fortunate that they’re able to go to a good school and still have things that they need in order to live and grow well. And that’s enough for them to understand. :)

Mommy Moments: Christmas Tree
Mommy Moments time! And this week's theme is Christmas tree. My kids are always excited and happy, especially after I've decorated our Christmas tree. I'm not really artistic, but I really try my best to make our tree very Christmas-y. Here's our tree at home, and I took this picture right after decorating it. :)
And here are my kids posing by the tree! :)

Mommy Moments: Big Things
It's my first time to join this wonderful meme for kids and moms. Big Things is the theme for this week.
Gwenevere beside Belle
My two girls by the surf board at Subic
And oh, will this picture of my little boy beside a whale shark count? Well, in reality it's big, just small in this pic (lol!)
